I have seen posts where people have differenciated between getting a degree from an online program vs. a distant learning program. I always thought they were the same. Thanks in advance.

I’m very skeptical about online degrees and stuff like that. But the concept is so appealing for me as I have no possibility to attend one in person. Are online degrees credited in the real world? Thanks in advance!
